A further substantial American Indian gambling den is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 square feet, 668 one armed bandits, and fourteen table games. Additionally, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs never closes, with 38,500 sq.ft., 1,589 slot machines, 36 table games, and 4 dining rooms. There are several other popular Iowa casinos, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa paddle wheel boat casino, The Isle of Capri, is available never closes, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. riverboat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday 21 tournaments.
Iowa casinos present a great deal of tax revenue to the government of Iowa, which has permitted the funding of a good many commonwealth wide activities. Vacationers have increased at an accelerated percentage along with the demand for services and a growth in jobs. Iowa gambling dens have been helpful to the expansion of the market, and the affection for wagering in Iowa is across the board.
