Learning From My Wagering Errors

1st to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the internet or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are flat broke. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you start to be aware of your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, believe me, this method almost never ever functions. Say you are betting on slots, have an amount set to the side before beginning your action. DO NOT go over that boundary, regardless how captivating. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Do not risk your profits no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it’s online or at a land based casino, don’t stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, another time.

Always remember, wagering is assumed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, don’t even begin.
